Introduction and Objective: Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is an important issue due to high incidence and high recurrence rate after the surgery. It frequently affects more than one compartment, and goes together with stress urinary incontinence (SUI). Corrective surgery is frequently performed with meshes in order to obtain more successful and durable results. High price of the mesh kits limit number of operated patients especially in developing countries especially in cases with more than one kit (or kit and sling) necessary. The aim of this study is achieve satisfactory correction of the anterior compartment, middle compartment and SUI with the same mesh kit Anterior Prolift system (Johnson&Johnson, Ethicon, Gynecare, USA). Material and methods: Total of 27 patients with symptomatic POP and SUI (12/27) were operated and available for the 18 months follow up. Anterior Prolift set that was passed transobturatory with anterior and through the sacrospinous ligament with posterior mesholders. Mesh was devided in the middle and fixed around the cervix (or cuff in previously hysterectomized females n=13). Sling was created from the anterior mesholders and placed like TVT . POP and symptoms were evaluated before 1, 6, 12 and 18 months after the surgery. Results: There was significant improvement of POP (p=0.00), symptoms of pelvic pressure vaginal bulging, and SUI as well (p=0.00, p=0.00 and p=0.04 respectively ). Urgency was corrected but just below the level of significance Conclusion Porlapse of the anterior, apical compartment and SUI could be successfully corrected with the single Anterior Prolift system.
